How We Clean
At On Call Bio, we go far beyond a standard deep clean with our remediation processes using EPA approved cleaning agents. We adhere to the highest standards in biohazard and chemical remediation to ensure that our customers and technicians are fully protected. Our technicians are certified and follow OSHA and CDC cleaning procedures.
WHAT IS REMEDIATION?
Biohazard cleanup (and its commonly used alternative, crime scene cleanup) sounds like standard cleaning, but it is a specialized biohazard cleanup company. Biohazard cleanup is the removal, cleaning, and disinfection of blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially harmful pathogens in affected areas after a death, accident, or communicable disease outbreak. On Call Bio requires all staff to be properly trained to ensure the safety and eliminate any biohazard dangers to the technicians and the homeowner.
THE ON CALL BIO REMEDIATION PROCESS
ASSESS
We complete an initial walk-through and OSHA-mandated employee-safety hazard assessment of the scene.
CONTROL AND SETUP
We use OSHA’s recommended cross-contamination protocol to control the affected area by securing and separating it from other parts of the structure
REMOVE
We remove all visible traces of blood and biological materials from the affected area. This is the most dangerous step of the remediation process.
CLEAN, DISINFECT, AND DEODORIZE
After removal, we clean, disinfect, and deodorize affected surfaces using EPA-rated disinfectants.
VERIFY
Upon completion, we use adenosine triphosphate (ATP) testing technology to guarantee hospital-level standards of disinfection.
